On Sunday, December 14th, Members of the Holbrook FD were called upon by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Each year, the foundation hosts a Holiday Brunch for their children in need, and they ask various organizations to help make the day extra special for them. FF. N. Heffernan & Commissioners Barhold & Tarantino immediately responded to this request, bringing various sets of gear & toys for the kids to play with a try on. They were joined with childhood icons, such as Bob the Builder, Olaf from Frozen, Darth Vader, & the very own Santa Clause. At the end of the day, over 200 kids and their families attended the festivities.
