On Wednesday, December 17th, the Holbrook FD was activated for a Motor Vehicle Accident on Veterans Highway & Broadway Avenue. Asst. Chief Heinssen was the first to respond to the alarm receiving additional information of possible wires down. Soon after, Rescue 7 & Engine 2 responded. Upon arrival, Chief Heinssen reported a single-car accident with various transformers down across the roadway and requested for PSEG to respond.

Chief Heinssen placed a Signal 4-Under Control on the alarm a short time later after the patient was treated and transported to a nearby hospital. Units were released and placed back in service accordingly.
