So sorry to hear about the loss of Mike T. (Rubber Legs) He was a great guy person and a all round nice guy that would do anything for you. Just want to say that he will be missed and he is out of pain now and his family can now move on not worrying about how to make him feel better. God Bless all of you.

Thanks for all your hard work guys and girls. I have so much pride in our town of Holbrook. I wish I can make my annual donation on-line rather than writing a check and going to the Post Office. Seems like the Donation option is blank or just not set up yet. You may be able to get more donations with the on-line option. Hopefully soon. Will still make my annual donation. Be safe everyone.

I certainly did enjoy reading the "History of the Department". Many thanks to whoever put all that time and effort into it. As a lifetime resident of Holbrook it certainly did bring back many memories both happy and sad. Made me recall the time my mom wrapped my dads legs in dry cleaning bags so he could wade through the snow from Grundy to the firehouse on Broadway during the snowstorm in 1947. Thank you again for all you do every day.

I just wish to thank all the wonderful Officers and men of the the Sun Vet Engine Co. 127. Their professional conduct and response to my Mother's need was above all measure. Sadly my Father passed away , but our Family is very appreciative by their valiant efforts to assist up to the last moment. Their presence at the Moloney's Funeral home was also heartfelt by our Family. My Father was a wonderful man and will be missed greatly. It was so considerate of all in offering support to my Mother in particular and to our Family.
Thank you very much.

Many thanks to those who responded to the MVA on 10/22. There are two members in particular who went above and beyond in their care and concern to provide emotional as well as physical assistance. Those kindnesses will be long remembered.
I just wanted to thank Eagle Engine Department Members for their quick response on numerous occasions when our Baby Boy had some health issues. I just wanted to let you know that it is more appreciated than you can imagine...God bless and thank you for all you do...
This weekend my son Tom, his wife Gayle, and I had the opportunity to visit the Coutant Cemetery in New Rochelle, NY where my husband, Harvey W. Heine, is buried. I was delighted to see the American flag and the Holbrook Fire Department banner at his grave. You can't know how much it means to me to know he is still remembered in such an nice way.
Thank you to the Department for remembering him and to the people who made the trip to New Rochelle to the cemetery.
When we were first married we lived at 1101 Broadway Avenue and the Fire Department was across the street in a converted garage with the siren on a telephone pole. When the telephone rang, the siren went off, and Harvey and Howard Snyder would race to see who could get across the street first to take the call - lots of memories.

Just dropping by to say hello to everyone . I miss you all. everything is ok down my way. I hope the same with you all.Hope to see you one of these days. so long for now.
As a member many years ago I often recall many of the great times I had there in that old main house. Especially when gerry took my fishing hat off and steve took it to the corner of terry and church and airated it with a shotgun. Try doing that now. Or gerry choking the hell out of us in the kitchen burning pepper on a tray in that old oven. Geeez... Whenever I get back to NY I always stop by and hope to have a cold one at the bar. See you guys next trip up.
Excellent post. Thank you so much for this informative post. I will recommend it to all of my friends. thanks!

I would just like to take the opportunity to thank the members of the Holbrook Fire Dept. Today my 3 year old daughter had a field trip with her preschool, and the fire prevention team that was there was amazing! She came home and told her father everything she was taught, and then proceeded to ask where our meeting spot was! Thank you Neil and your crew for a fantastic trip!
Warmest Regards
