On Sunday March 14th, Jupiter 27 Truck Company & Lightning Engine Co 1 held a Truck company operations drill. First there was a lecture to refresh the aspects of truck company operations and go over safety tips. Then they went outside in the rain to perform the hands on skills. The drill consisted of raising ladders, starting and using power saws, climbing ladders with tools in hand, climbing into and out of a 2nd floor window, setting up a roof ladder and cutting a roof while working off of a roof ladder.
