At 1524 Holbrook was activated for smoke in the area of Lincoln Ave and Church street. Arriving units located the source of the fire being piles of scrap burning in Chauncey Metal Processors located at 1111 Lincoln Ave. Two handlines and multiple master streams were immediately put into operation to prevent further spread to additional nearby scrap. Rehab Unit responded for prolonged alarm and Fire Marshall requested and responded. Units operated and were on scene for over two hours. There were no reported injuries as EMS stood buy entire call. Scene released to Fire Marshall at 1734 hrs.
